About the Property
Located on Man O Way Cay, Arawak House is perched over the waters of the island’s Eastern Harbour. The home boasts a 55-foot porch from which you can enjoy the wonders of the Bahamas. You can watch sailboats come and go, watch colorful fish like parrot fish angel fish, sergeant majors, snappers, and groupers swim, watch herons nesting in the mangroves, and see green turtles playing in the water. Arawak House also boasts a 58-foot dock that carries five-feet of water at low tide; it is a perfect place to tie up your boat, and from which to swim.
Our family has been a part of the Man O War community since the late 1940’s. We believe it to be a very special place. We are happy to answer any questions you have about Arawak House and about the area.
This house was in an excellent location and very maintained. The house had all of the accommodations needed and the caretaker and the owner were very helpful. The host responded and did well communicating. We will certainly stay here again.
House was as described. Very clean and airy, a super quiet and unique Bahamas experience. The private beach had enough sand to enjoy hopping down for swims in the morning and the ferry service came right to our dock. Dock was also great for the boat we rented. Tim was very responsive and helpful as were the property mangers. Will stay again.
what a fantastic spot! great house with obviously a rich family history! the property’s caretaker, scott, is a true gentleman! thank you & can’t wait to get back if you’ll have us 🙂
